Everyone will say to do something that you love, but that doesn't always pay the bills and I'm a realist. Pick something that you can't see getting outsourced to another country (i.e. India or China) in 30 years. If you can determine a career that can't be outsourced to cheap foreign labor then you'll be set. Personally I think nursing is one of the most stable careers and will be for a long if you can stomach blood and what not. It pays well and people always get sick. We are an aging population and it's pretty hard to outsource that job...although I hear they are bringing in nurses from the Philippines because we don't have enough here. Good luck!!
