If you are speaking from a strictly monetary stand point you will have to go with Bill Gates, but if you factor in a persons soul and relieving the suffering of a persons soul as well as their physical being, then you would have to say that Mother Theresa is it.

How can you say which is more helpful! Certainly Mother Teresa has more heart and has personally effected more people then Bill but the Gates Foundation has been able to help in ways that Mother Teresa has never been able to do. I would have to say Mother Teresa for the shear fact that faith will do more then the world of resources ever will.

Well I have to say both. I know that may not be the answer your looking for but the way I see it, they both contributed in their own right. All though she did not have the financial backing, Mother Teresa helped millions of people in a big way.

Bill Gates has the financial backing to do what he does. And he has done a great deal of good and will continue to do so for some time. Just my thoughts.

It's not hard to work it out. Sure Mother Teresa has done a lot but you can't beat billions of dollars in donations. Truthfully, Mother Teresa probably had better intentions not just an effort to portray philanthropy.

Bill Gates:

his official speeches are not involved in any religion nor spiritual belief, so I think he respects much more people on this planet. Much more than Mother T. does.

I don't like people who convey their own personal religious/spiritual beliefs while pretending to save people of the world. I think it is a perverting and disrespectful behaviour.

Moreover, Bill gates uses his OWN money for helping others.
