Here's my dilemna...I currently play on a bach 1c for concert band purposes. It's a pretty big mouthpiece and sounds really nice, but when I need to play high I get tired on it after about an hour and start overblowing really bad. I practice about an hour a day which I figure is pretty good for a High Schooler. I'd really like a more comfortable mouthpiece for jazz work. I intend to go shopping sometime soon. If anyone has any suggested mouthpieces for me to try or just suggestions in general, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Normally I would start this off by saying that moutpieces do not have too much to do with range capabilities, but I remember when I changed from a 7C to a 3C, how much I struggled with range and tone control. Since you are using a 1C for concert band, I would suggest a Bach 3C Megatone for jazz band. You obviously like a bigger cup, and I think that 5C and 7C are for elementary school and middle schoolers. 3C should fit nice.
