First you need to determine your skin type. Is it oily as a lot of teens tend to be because of hormones or is it dry or a T-zone? Your skin can be both oily and dry. Usually the area above the eyebrows and the nose are more oily. The best way to determine at home what your skin type is, is to wash your face thoroughly with a cleanser and pat dry. Next, take small pieces of transparent tape and put one on your forehead, nose, both cheeks and one on your chin. Wait one minute then remove. Place these pieces of tape on a piece of paper and label where you removed them from, i.e. nose.If you see spots on the tape, like pin dots, you tend to be oily there. A good cleanser and cheap too, is to mix half and half, witch hazel and water in a bottle. After using a soap like cleanser, take a cotton ball drench in this solution and dab your skin down. This gets the impurities in your pores out. Follow up with a moisturizer that is right for your skin.

that depends on your skin type: oily, normal, combination, or sensitive. By combination, I mean you have areas on you face that are oily like your nose and forehead and others that are not oily.
If you want to keep it simply, the brand name neutrogena has a variety for all the above skin types to choose from. If you have acne prone skin, make sure that you get something with salic acid as an ingredient and use a moisterizer made for acne prone skin, Aveeno has some good choices as well. Both of these brands you can get at a local drug store, plus if you are on a budget you may find an off brand with the same ingredients to them.

I think that pro active works best. Its not at the local drug store although they did start selling it in booths in the middle of the mall. Even if you don't have an acne problem it leaves your skin very soft and helps prevent breakouts. If you want to go to the drug store get someting it would depens on what you need it for. Face, body, feet, back ect. and what the problem is dry skin, oily skin, rash, bumps, ect. It depends on what you want it for.

Treatment for what? Acne?
Any of it would be good. Unless the person has allergies to certain ingredients or sensitive skin, then just read the labels and buy accordingly.
Alot of products now days will say "Dermatolgist Tested" and "Hypo Allergenic"
Those are the ones I usually stick with for my family.
