anyone know of a catalog that shows photos of different pieces of hardware and how they are used ,?

such as fastners , shims , etc. i have been buying surplus mixed lots of hardware , and some are strange to me.

I like Rockler supply company. I hit their website often, and I get their catalog mailed to me. Ive been buying from them for a long time, and Ive always been satisfied with the quality of their products. Rockler is a woodworker's supply ....tools, hardware, all kinds of stuff.

Grainger is a BIG industrial supply company with a few stores around the country, and a very thick catalog.

;) You could always try posting some pics too, of the things that have got you stumped, along with where you got them. Someone may recognize them.

National Mfg has a brochure with how-to instructions .. also Servalite has catolog with pictures and desriptions. They both should have websites.Loation in IL..
