I am trying to remember this one guy that some girls in my school were gaga about but I can't think of his name. He was around at the same time as Leaf Garrett and had that kind of hair.

Trying not to repeat any answers already given and assuming it's a singer and not an actor, I'd say Andy and David Williams, Jimmy McNichol (yes, he had an album with sister Kristy), Tony DeFranco, Rick Springfield (yes, he was from the 70's...remember the Saturday cartoon?) and although maybe not classified as a teen idol, how about Peter Frampton?

I think you may be talking about either David Cassidy or his half brother,Shaun. Both were teen idols in the 70s.

Donny Osmond was really popular way back in the '70's. He had a string of hit songs and so did his brothers. They were very popular back then, and they are still performing even today.
