Can anybody out there tell me how do you get involved in being a foster parent? What website to go to? Who to call? Where to go? Or any information that will be useful and helpful in me becoming a foster parent

Yes, I am one myself. Go to your local Department of Human Services, Child and Human Development center - each county has one that is goverend by your state. Ask them to give you paperwork on becoming a Foster parent. You''' start by filling out background check info, homes studies, go to classes, etc.. I'll be glad to give more info, just email me.

Call your local family services or children's aid offices. Foster care goes through them. Why do you want to be a foster parent?
