Overall, I believe Dayal Singh College has come out of quite of its notoriety since 70s!
Since you have not asked for any particular stream of education in the college, I won't comment on that aspect.
More importantly, it is upto you how seriously you take your education, your career, your parents' money and building your character. There could be thousands of examples where a gem is emerging out of even dirt. If you are shortlisting this institution, could be for various reasons, do avail best of it and contribute to its success so that in the time to come you could associate your degree from this college more proudly.

Only for Economics stream as faculty is good. For other streams, its just ok...not really good. But ultimately, a college is good or bad depends on your friend circle. If its good then any college would be good or rather great. The opposite also holds true.
So take admission and try to have a cool and cice friends around you. Got it.

yes, dayal sing is good collage for doing commerce,,, i was also student of dayal singh.
