I too, did not enjoy high school. Altough instead of taking the GED route, I just graduated early. Now, I work part-time at a high school. because of this job, I know many many people who went and got a GED, and are doing great in college. Just keep your head up. Also, it will be important for you to realize that since you will be younger than most everyone there, you really need to focus on your education. Most people there will have had more classes, more expierence, and more information.

Good Luck!!

(FYI - like i said i did not like hs, but now I am in love with college. College is so much different. Hopefully you'll enjoy college as much as I do.)

Yes, you must go to college. You'll be happy that you did. It's a lot of hard work, but worth it. Living through the Katrina aftermath, you've had a unique experience (not everyone went through what you have). You sound like a strong person. Go to school in August and the opportunities for you are endless. Good luck!

Go to college. You'll be fine. I dropped out of school when I was 16, got my GED, and went on to do great in college. Ask your professors if you don't understand the material, form a study group with other students, use the tutoring services, find out what resources are available to help you, and study hard. I wish you the best.

Yep. You can do it. I was homeschooled so I didn't get a high school diploma. I went and got a GED, but then I went to college and now I have a Masters Degree. You can do it.

First let me say I am sorry about your house and I wish you the very best life has to offer. Next let me tell you that you can do anything you set you mind to. I am glad you got your GED and are continuing your education. You can do it. Good Luck and God Bless
