I can tell it to you in three easy steps. Now read carefully

1. separate 1 portion and lift it with your hand
2. Open your mouth real wide and bite in as much as u want to eat
3. chew and feel the crispy crust and enjoy

repeat the above steps till done
( i assume that the pizza is already out on the plate, other wise add one more step- open the box and spread the pizza on the plate)

I hope it helps

While in New York City, you eat the way New Yorkers eat pizza!
You go to an authentic Pizza Shop (they're everywhere in the city) & purchase a slice of pizza. You fold it in half [long way] & you grab some napkins. Put the napkins on the end where the crust is, so it can catch all the cheese & sause juices [grease, LOL] & you keep on walking.
BEST PIZZA ANYWHERE! YUMMY!

If not in New York... I usually purchase a pizza pie, sprinkle some oregano, garlic & a tiny bit of salt. Grab a slice & I still fold my pizza in half.
Don't forget... pizza is a finger food & it's okay to grab a slice & enjoy it with your hands!
Just like Italian bread at an authentic Italian fancy restaurant... you break the bread apart with your bare hands. It is bad luck to cut your Italian bread with a knife!

I now live in Ohio & pizza here is sooooooo different! Nothing like NYC! Sometimes the pizza here you have to load it up with so much stuff in order for it to taste good, you then have to use a knife & fork.

I hope that does it for you!
[not a stupid question!!!!!]
I think I'll have Pizza tomorrow!

I don't know the Emily Post official etiquette on the subject (though I do know all the rules of bilingual wedding invitations), but I believe that, at least in America, pizza is acceptable to eat with the hands. Folding in half is probably the most acceptable, as it enables greater greasy-finger control.

Follow standard rules. Always use a napkin.

Well, first you pick up the pizza with your fingers. Then put the pizza in your mouth. Then takeyour teeth and bite down on the pizza. As you are chewing, put the pizza down and when you are done chewing, repeat the steps until the pizza is gone.

Whenever I eat anything, I always save the best for last. Therefore, I start with the outer edge, and finish with the center tip. If the pizza is square, I dont eat square pizzas.

I always eat the center part with a knife and fork and then the crust with my fingers.

mmmm .. this sounds good, maybe I will have a pizza for dinner.

Thank you !
