Why doesn't my camcorder pick up in WindowsMovie Maker when using S-Video?

I have S-Video hooked up, and a A/V to USB connection but no video picks up from either my Muvee Progam or WindowsMovie Maker program...help..

I am using a Pinnacle A/V USB plug-in, but I no longer have the software for it. But it should default to a standard plug-in right??

You may have to tell the software driver to switch from the composite input to the SVHS (s-video) input..
Unfortunately you didn't say what A/V to USB converter you are using.
