I am making $9 and hour where mimimum wage is 5.25. This is a great high school job for the money. I am saving up for a car so that is why i am working there for now. I am a telemarketer for Alltel and i sit in a building all day making calls all over the country. I love the paychecks. The job sucks and is boring(lots of weirdos in this country). I want to quit once i buy a car and work somewhere else. But i dont know what to do because the paychecks are awesome and i dont want to give them up. Whats your advice,

if you don't like what your doing, your going to regret it every morning when you get up to go to work, so find something you enjoy doing, but don't quit this job until you have found something else.

Every job is boring...only paychecks are interesting...so if you like the money then hang in there...and well its not bad after all to learn when you are spending those precious hours of your at work learn everything about operations, technology and the whole business management trust me it will help you in a big way in your future jobs...

A lot of people have jobs they don't like ... that's why they call it work. If you are good at telemarketing but don't like the company ... maybe it's what you're selling. There are many non profits that hire tele marketers .... such as blood banks. You could get people to donate blood and save a life. check out what's available.

Keep this job until you've reached your goal for taking on the job in the first place. And since the money is good, just endure it until you've figured out what you really want to do.

Find what you love, prepare for college. I worked for MCI customer service and I hated it. If you stay to long in that kind of job and you don't like it, it will start to effect other areas of your life. I started being disgusted by stupid people.

Learn how to weld. You won't make 9 dollars an hour anymore though, you will make 20 dollars an hour.

Every job sucks that's why they call it work and not play. If it were fun then we would all want your job. Stick it out I say and rake in the dough sister!!!!!!!!!!!
