I hate to keep on hearing this question but I think it is because the league (and all fans) are just hurting to find the next Michael Jordan. It happened with Kobe, Vince Carter, Grant Hill, etc.. This last finals thats all I would hear. Wade would be the next Michael (after the 4th game mind you). But I do not think he will be as good as Michael. I think they are giving Wade too much credit, he is still very young. And he has earned this respect from refs in just 3 yrs. And I think this whole fall 7 times get up 8 thing has gone to his head. He falls for every little touch now. Soon kids everywhere are going to be falling down on the court with every little touch to get a foul called. I do not think he has been in this league long enough to be getting touch fouls called on him. It took Jordan a hell of a lot longer, but I think that goes back to the league really hurting for another Michael Jordan. But don't get me wrong, I think Wade is a great player. He has a great mid-range jumpshot, is great at getting fouls called, great at the free throw line (which gets his midrange jumpshot going), and an ok driver to the basket and finisher. But no way the next Michael Jordan.

Oh Heck no! Wade is good, I'll admit that. But Jordan will always be the only Michael Jordan. Besides, basketball is a team sport, not an individual one.... and Jordan knew that. Thats why he's got so many championship rings!!

Nothing against Mr. Wade, but there is only one Michael Jordan. But D-Wade can become one of the top 3 stars in the league.

D.Wade is already 1 of the 3 top players in the League, but to be named the next Jordan is not going to happen. First he have to be great with less talent around him like Jordan or more like Lebron is doing with Cleveland. Then he have to get 6 or more rings.,

I personally think Bird was the greatest overall player even though no one would agree with me. but anyway dwyane im giving him a no to the next jordan but for sure going to go down as one of the best players in nba history

MJ is MJ and D-Wade is D-Wade. He told reporters some time ago that there'll be no one to compare to MJ. He doesn't want to be compared to him. He said that he'll be his own legacy, like "do you think (name of the player) will be the next D-Wade?"

No, there will never be a next Jordan. The cloest person (as far as talent and game), I would have to say, Kobe.

Not in a million years. He's good I'll give him that much, but Jordan pioneered the sport.
