Yes, but you need to be a tech guru for that you can track down the IP address from where the mail has been sent, every computer which is hooked on to the internet has a distinctive IP address that seperates it from the others its your identity on the internet, so if you want you can find out with the help of your service provider if needed the IP address from which you have received the mail then you can find where the IP is located every region like Asia, Europe etc have distinctive IP details. If you view the full header you'll see the true orginating email.

However, this doesn't work when an email is sent through a website or any other online email option (except for a webmail specific to an ISP).

That will give you an account. It will also give you the originating IP address. With that and a website called Geo Bytes (geobytes.com) you can trace it to a city or a town.

change the option to display full header for the email. from the header u can see the ip address, and from that u can find where it is sent from, use iptracker on the yahoo search

kinda. In outlook or outlook express, open the message and then click View-Options. It gives the IP address and path it came from unless it was spoofed or is spam which can be spoofed and usually is.

What do u mean...yes by seeing the Message and look at the from email... a visit that persons Profile...
