I just talked to my mom about it and i asked if she would make sure use birth control. She was mature about it but said she did not like to use condoms. I asked if she used the pill and she said she did sometimes but other times relied on the times where she could not get pregnant. I asked her if she was not using the pill if they are gonna do this to make sure that he ejaculates where she can not get pregnant. Is that safe enough? is the pill 100 percent effective? She never really said she dident want to get pregnant... should I be worried?

My mom and my friend are in a sexual relationship. I do not mind. They are legal of age. I do not want them to have a kid

who are you to tell your mom not to have anymore kids

i guess you also are 21 so move out and get the hell out of their way

if they want a baby then why are you unhappy

is it because you think ur friend will make her pregnant and then leave her?

if thats the case then tell your mom about it

but she may 40 + and she must be knowing what is right and wrong

leave your life dont worry about them
they are grown up

hope your mom realises how uncomfortable you are

i understand that you are the one who should be having kids now not ur mom but then againur friend is 21 and he may want to have kids

talk to both of them

cheers

ORDINARILY, age disparity is not a valid reason to discourage persons from having sex with each other. Unless your mom (and/or your friend) is mentally incompetent, it seems the sex is consensual.

You didn't say whether your mom is married, divorced or a widow -- but since you didn't mention a marital partner, it seems logical she's (effectively) single.

As to the issue of pregnancy, the "rythm method" competently practiced is extraordinarily effective (I forget the numbers, but they were better than for either condoms or birth control pills "used as directed").

As to the issue of her getting pregnant, why is that a concern for you? Surely you're not jealous of a *potential* brother or sister, are you? The only cause for worry that I can see is (no offense intended) your obsession with whether your friend is gonna knock-up your mom.

As one should know, nothing ever made is ever 100% effective. Not the pill, not the condom, not the computer, etc. Only 'abstinence' is 100%. One must be diligent in this sort of relationship. Yes, I would be worried. Please have your mom talk to her doctor to get some straight facts. Information from an authoritative figure may get her to see the light. Good luck.

Birth control pills are effective if you take them every day.
Ejaculating out side of the vagina doesn't work. Semen escapes from the penis and other times.

Personally I would worry. If she doesn't have her tubes tied, you my friend can consider yourself an elder sibling. My kids friends call me a MLF, but I wouldn't give them the time of day... I wish your mom could take a lesson.
