Payment is child support is not contingent upon anything. Certainly not on whether you see the child.
You owe child support payments because the child EXISTS not as a fee that buys you the right to anything.
You may have a right to demand that the child not be moved out of state but that is completely separate from your legal obligation to support your child.
But if you do not see the child then what possible reason could you have for wanting to keep the child in state?

Depends on the court system in your state. Talk to a lawyer or go to the court house and talk to a facilatator....most states have those. Some states, like WA, requires that the moving parent to notify you through the court system. (like you have to have a parenting plan worked out.) Look into it. You DO have rights. Good luck.

My husband pays child support , but he sees his kids 8 weeks a year. Their mom moved out of province so she has to pay their airfare back and forth when they come to visit. It was part of the custody deal and for allowing her to move away. I would try and speak to a lawyer if you can.

You should look at your divorce decree. Parental rights are usually given. Is your concern having to pay child support or seeing your child?

You need to get a lawyer that specializes in Family Law to review your case - don't do it alone.
