i think so. i iknow someone that was normal and then developed a bad habit of taking any stimulant he could get his hands on. not just coke either. caffeine, mini thins, etc. then he started having psychotic episodes and was diagnosed schizoaffective. and it has reocurred enough after he quit taking his medication (more than 5 times now) so i would assume it is permanent. now whether or not he would have developed this disorder without external chemical intake is up for debate. but even if he did have genectic tendencies, the fact of the matter is that his drug use was enough stress to bring on the psychosis. i personally dont believe that anything involving his own natural environmental stress was enough to bring on the psychosis by itself, assuming the predisposition was there

No, it cannot but risks are increased by aging, mixed use of substances and physical illnesses. It may also become chronic and more serious if the use of amphetamines continues.
