Sebastian Bach of the 90s rock band Skid Row played the title roles Jekyll and Hyde the musical and Jesus Christ Superstar! I would LOVE to see/hear him in those roles!

I guess that's why Bach wasn't in the role of Jesus for very long! I read somewhere that he acted like a "diva" and was hard to work with.

I hated his interpretation of Jesus. I saw him in San Diego in 2002. He ruined the show for me. On the other hand, Carl Anderson was fabulous as Judas, as was the woman that played Mary Magdelene. Bach was horrible.
