Bert and Ernie are Muppets. Muppets do not have sex or even a sex drive. They cannot be gay, nor can they be straight. They are just Muppets.
Rubber Ducky is Ernie's toy. It encourages children to use their imaginations and play with their toys in imaginative ways.
