Alas, why is it that most each and every one of us covets something that someone else has, when all the while, someone is coveting what we had all the time???
Anything that you could do to your skin would not look natural, but would rather appear "unnatural" or less than bona fide. I'll not tell you to try anything to bleach your skin. My belief is to embrace what and who we are, and only then will we begin to become totally accepting and loving of ourselves. If we are not one of the first to love us, how can we possibly expect anyone else to?
Short of attempting to change your complexion's color, I will recomend that you make your "outsides" appear as beautiful as can be from the inside out. Make sure that you are fit, rested, properly hydrated, and stress-free. Make sure that you are eating the best and healthiest food you can, so that your skin, hair, and nails will radiate health. Maintain or improve your hygiene and grooming regimine.
Furthermore, develop your talents and your mind. Negative energy and positive energy cannot occupy the same space. Therefore, if you fill your thoughts with wonderful ideas, you'll have no room for those negative thoughts like insecurity. When all of these components come together, and you are able to cherish who you are, then you will begin to radiate to all around you.

However much you want a fair complextion, it might not look right on you and match the rest of your skin. You shouldnt be wanting what you have heard is beautiful, i personally know that my indian friends attract alot of attention for being themselves.
But if you do want a fair complextion dont go to light. Go a shade or two lighter with your foundation and see how it looks. Good luck!

depending on how dark you are, you could try OTC products (marketed with ethnic skin care as "Skin Brightners") or in the regular skin care aisle ("Porcelana") both products contain a ingredient called hydroquinone. after regular use for 6-8 weeks your skin not only will be brighter and more even-toned but will be up to 2 shades lighter (by the way---dark complexions are beautiful too)

Best and safest is to just stay out of the sun. However, if you're doing this for a male, go find a whiteboy. They love dark skin. One Love People.

are not proud of being what you are.you have to accept the fact that you belong to a race that has a dark skin and no matter how
hard you try to look white,it is not gonna work, buddy.

I dont know what to say besides trying to use something that will lighten your skin but staying out of the sun really do helps but it will take a while for that to happen.

Don't worry about your skin colour. Anyone who truly loves you doesn't even see the colour of your skin. You are who you are and that is really what makes you beautiful not your skin....unless it is a weird green colour with weeping sores.

always use face products w/ sunscreen so ur face doesnt get darker....
i know it the days of the Rennasiance people used to eat verrrrry small portions of arsinic (a deadly poisen) to lighten their skin color because it was beautiful to be pale white. u shouldnt eat poisen but maybe u should look that up to see if there is an alternative. its all about the melanin in ur skin....maybe there is something to take to alter it.
