In each episode there must be some criticism against Bush's administration, the war and the negativity of the American people and how they're submissive to Bush while he's ripping them off yet they pretend otherwise. And how ignorant Americans are about politics and the reasons for war.... actually in one episode a woman said she's embarassed that she's American and they gave some innuendos that Americans should be embarassed of the soldiers who are in Iraq, but of course they couldn't say it straight or the media will hunt them down.

Isn't that a great show for Americans to learn something, and for non-Americans to know that there are still some good Americans alive... jewish or not, they're doing a nice show... don't u agree?

When I said Jewish or not, it's because James Spader (Alan Shore) and William Shatner (Denny Crane) are both Jewish, so I read somewhere that people are saying that Boston Legal is anti-gov. and it's a Jewish plan.... duh... it's a nice show! Fantastic actually!

I'm not entirely sure what being Jewish has to do with Boston Legal.

I enjoy this show very much, particularly because of its political and social commentary. The good thing about living in a democracy is that its citizens have the power - and the right - to critique their government and to push for change. If Boston Legal wants to use their one hour a week to do that, then they have every right to. Just because you question your government doesn't mean that you're not a good American.

People all over the world recognize that freedom of speech is one of the most important rights necessary for a functioning society. Speaking your mind doesn't make you less patriotic; in fact, it makes you more.

If you start insisting that entertainment backs government, even if they do not agree with government, then you are crossing the line into a loss of freedoms for all.

Whether this makes you happy all of the time or no, 1st amendment rights guarantee that you can non-violently protest or seek redress. Shows that bash the current administration do nothing more than that.

One day soon, you may be relieved that your opportunity to seek redress was not taken away.

And what does race or belief have to do with your grievance? I don't think the current administration would be ok with the support of a bigot.

Love the show. But you neglected to mention how Alan and Denny play off each other....with Denny (among others) being the ultimate "conservative".
I love it when they have their little chats on what's right and what's wrong. Notice at the end of the show, though, how they come to a meeting of the minds....or at least an agreement, that they can disagree.

Hell I want more, anti Bush, not less, He gets what he deserves, well not really, if he did, he'd be Impeached, for his stupidy and his actions, in war and in serving our nation. Thank God someone is trying to him up.
