Peter Forsberg. I hate how he plays. He plays cheap because his team is always there to back him up. Also, I think it is very strange that he is hurt so badly that he cant play an entire season and all of the sudden, playoffs come, and he is in great shape and has a great playoff run. That is crap. I think they should make rules about playing a certain amount of regular season games. Also to all the people that hate Bertuzzi, i hope it is not because of the hit on Moore. That is crap and anyone that plays hockey knows that in that situation you do not turn your back and run, he knew he was getting hit. It was just a bad case that the guy got hurt. That happens all the time in hockey with people hitting from behind on accident, so should they get fined thousands of dollars too. I have had 2sprained necks and sprained my back twice, it is a part of hockey. So I hope that is not why you all hate Bertuzzi, but I dont watch him enough to be a fan.

Without a doubt, it's Todd Bertuzzi. He's nothing but a thug pretending to play hockey. Besides what he did to Steve Moore, he ended Al MacGinnis's career with a cheap shot. The guy is violent and gives the sport a bad name.
I'm all for fighting and rough stuff in hockey, but not just skating onto the ice for the purpose of beating somebody up. You're in the wrong sport for that.

Okay....I'm gonna out myself as an Avs fan, though I'll say it loud and proud at Joe Louis Arena or in the dark depths of General Motors Place.....but Todd Bertuzzi.
And why the hell would Steve Moore fight Todd Bertuzzi? Bertuzzi is bigger, stronger and a better fighter.....Moore had already fought, and beaten Brad May earlier in the game.....should have been over then. They were retaliating against more for a clean hit.....a hit that Markus Naslund himself said was clean and that he (Naser) "should have kept my head up." Bertuzzi is dirty no matter how you look at it. He comes in high with his elbows on every hit......he's out there to hurt people.
It used to be Brett "I don't play hockey because I like it I play hockey because I'm good" Hull....but then he called our Bertuzzi, saying Tuzz better watch himself when he comes to Detroit.
Forsberg is the best player in hockey....if you recall, he was out because his spleen had ruptured the previous playoffs and it had to be removed. Anything he does that you might call 'cheap' is done in retaliation. Guys like Jarkko Ruutu give Fors cheap shots and usually get away with it. Don't dish it out if you cant take it.

Probably Bertuzzi, Tkachuk, or Hatcher. All three are fairly overrated. Also, they make late, cheap hits that don't even seem to add excitement to the game. Can't really think of any past players, most are either legends or forgotten it seems.

Brendan Shanahan and Paul Coffey. Wah wah wah!! I can't play here. Remember that playing in the NHL is a priviledge, not a right. You play where you get traded to and stop whining. If your heart is not in the game after your trade, then retire and sell fishing poles!! I want a trade wah wah wah. Sounds like Chris Prongers wife! And Chris is a decent guy too!

So many but narrowing it down. Past--Bobby Clarke (dirtiest player ever and hid behind his Broad Street Bullies). Present--Bryan Marchment because he hits illegally and never gets suspended it seems. The guy is a knee-on-knee train wreck.

Any of the so called "superstar" players that get the big contract and don't live up to it - and whine whenever they get touched. Players that play with their heart and soul and good out hard and show what they can do to prove themselves - now those are hockey players!

Eric Lindros, no question. I have no sympathy for a guy who has dodged two drafts and can't go to the bathroom without asking his parents' permission (they are his agents; cut the cord, Eric!!!).
He refused to play for Quebec Nordiques when they drafted him, forcing them to trade him to Philly...he also did the same thing in the OHL (junior) draft, refusing to play for Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds until they finally traded him to the Oshawa Generals. What a whiner. I have no respect at all for that guy.
