No. I don't think so. Gerard Way was born in 1977 in Newwark New Jersey. Billy Corgan was born in 1967 in Chicago so he would have been 9 or 10 when Way was conceived.

Gerard kind of looks like Billy, in a very offhand way. Unfortunately for gerard, there's not much of a comparison to be had outside of looks. He's not nearly as musically talented as Corgan, to be brutally honest. When he comes up with something that can rival 1979, Cherub Rock, Disarm or Bullet With Butterfly Wings, then I'll concede.
