you had a close girlfriend that had stopped calling and hanging out with you because she had started to date someone and now she wants to come back in your life now that the novelty has worn off?
I am willing to let the friendship go but I will still say hi to her whenever I see her. What would you do?

Personally, I have a life that is full enough that I don't NEED to worry about whether or not my so-called friends are calling because their relationships are boring.. or they call for whatever reason.. don't spend so much time being concerned over if and why she calls you.. just get on with your life and if you are there when she calls, fine.. if you aren't.. too bad. She should have thought of that when she stopped calling because of some guy.

Do just that, I had a similar situation..this "friend" calls me or talks to me whenever she feels the need to have me around. I don't take it personally and I jus listen to her, we all need someone to listen sometimes. Whether I think of her as one of my friends...that would be a no...we were at one point..but all the boys and the booze and the wild nights and new crowds made us grow apart...so...say hi to her talk to her, y'all were once friends..no hard feelings..just nothing to personal ya know? best to keep your distance when it comes to committed friendship..if she's done that before chances are she's the flighty type who changes with the weather...

good luck

well, give her the benefit of a doubt. maybe she got some reasons why she never did called you or had stop seing you for sometime. be straight to her, tell her what you think and what you feel anyway youve been friends and what are friends for right?

i would not. She could be using you. I had that same thing happen to me. The friendship should be convenient for both of you, not when ever she wants!

i would tell her that i am not here for her when she was never there for me. friendships go both ways, she has to be as loyal to you, as you are to her.
