I have struggled with bacne for years. It always made me feel self-conscious and I had trouble when prom time came around the corner or when it was time to suit up for the pool. I have tried many products and none of them seemed to help. I have tried ProActiv, AcneFree, Clear.Dot.Now, Clearasil, and several medicated washes and topical creams from the dermatologist. All of these products either did not work, had inconsistent results, irritated my skin, etc. I recently went to the beach for a week and I was able to wear my bathing suit and feel comfortable in it because I was acne free. Keep reading to figure out how I did it.

If you are struggling with acne on the face, then I would NOT suggest buying expensive treatments unless your acne is severe. If you want to use a store bought product, then I suggest Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash.

I have looked all over the Internet and I have never found a good remedy that clears up chest and back acne like the one I figured out myself. I have heard every kind of remedy or procedure for clearing up acne and none of them worked! I got so frustrated and I thought I would have acne for the rest of my life.

All you have to do when taking a shower is wash your hair bent over so NONE of your hair touches your back or chest. Especially when you use conditioner your hair should not touch these parts of your skin because the conditioner will clog the pores on your back and chest and create acne. Next, wash your entire body with soap EXCEPT do not touch your back or chest, just let these areas rinse under water. To some this might seem disgusting, but I have done this for months and I still come out of the shower feeling clean and fresh... with an added bonus.

Just after a week I noticed a difference! I started coming out of the shower with NO back or chest acne!! I do not wash these areas with anything but let the natural skin oils cleanse my back and chest naturally and the results are clear skin!! Now, even though I do this I have an occasional but rare pimple every now and then. It's so small that all I do is apply a topical gel to it and it disappears so fast. This gel is called Duac and I got it from my dermatologist. If you don't want to use a medicated gel, then use the homemade remedies up above, or purchase On-The-Spot Acne Treatment by Neutrogena.

Yes. Neutrogena is really good. Keep using that and it should go away. If not maybe a scar fader cream would help you out.
