Greater tax revenues lead to more spending for the government programs that Liberals covet.

Instead, they continue to rant and rave at how "tax cuts for the rich" have led to greater deficits. Pure B.S. and typical propoganda from the left. Again, the facts say otherwise (check with the IRS). You have never understood how to mange tax policy and you never will. Learn from recent history.

I guarantee that the Dems will use lies about tax cuts in order to fan the flames of class warfare prior to the next election. The uniformed among us will follow them like sheep. Very sad indeed.

Unfortunately, you're right. Most people don't seem to realize that less than 1% of the population makes over $100,000 per year. The left keeps saying we need to tax them more, but it does the least.

What the gov. needs to do is stop spending!

I really have my doubts about your so called increase in tax revenue. I've been hearing that "trickle-down theory" since Reagan and the only thing that I saw trickle down has been my wages and the value of the dollar. I also watched the industrial giant called America turn into a service based economy that relies upon Third World countries for it's goods. The trillion dollar deficit is the result of us sending all our manufacturing overseas, giving the richest a windfall.

your 100% correct
it goes back to the old adage, give them enough rope, and they want more. Dems operate on the principal of need, as in they need you to need them to keep them in power, and class warefare is a perfect way to do this. They think that the government is the solution to all society's ( social ) problem and advocate absolution of personal repsonsibility, so the populace at large ( at least those who are poor ) will seek whatever program they can float down the pike and like a any good pusher, keep you hooked and dependant on it. Dems make the situation worse than before and like any Architech, will simply push for more moeny to cover a previous error, all the while never admitting they are wrong.

What you claim is only partially true. When you give a certain section of the populace a break it has to be made up by somebody else in order for the revenue to continue to come in.

So, realistically, when the president gives you money that means me and my neighbors have to foot the bill.

The extra tax revenue you talk about is coming from all of us who aren't in that top one percent.
