Agents usually get 15%, publishers even more and factor in the amount of books that are sold and it won't be as much as you think. Most writers of books or poetry have to keep their day jobs because very few become the next Dean Koontz or Gabriel Khalian (sp?)

As a start, nothing. You may eventually get something significant, it you have enough poems to publish your own book.
