Absolutely, if the person who is bi, has decided to be with the person who is lesbian, it should work out fine. Bisexuals are not promiscuous and if they have committed to a monogamous relationship, there is no reason it should not work out.

Yes it is.

There is a big misconception that a bisexual will ditch you for a member of the opposite gender to yourself. Whilst this can happen, its no more likely than a homosexual/heterosexual dumping their partner for someone else.

A militant lesbian may try to convince the bisexual that "they are really lesbian" - this would be a recipe for trouble, as you cannot impose a label on anyone. Its up to the individual what they identify as.

It is vary among people. It is all going back to the people who are involved in the relationship. As a guy, the only thing that I am concerned with my gender, is that we tend to be promiscuous. Ok that sounds kinda harsh but guys are easily attracted to something that 'refreshing' to their eyes. It can also happen in women though so I guess this is not limited to guys only.

Also, it depends on how you two define a 'healthy' relationship.

Good luck!

It depends on the people. I don't really see a reason why they couldn't, unless the lesbian gets jealous over the other liking guys, but I don't know. I actually just got a gf and she's lesbian and I'm bi, so we'll both find out I suppose.

Of course it is. Anyone who has real love for another person, can have a successful relationship. People who are just friends have successful relationships every day, that is what friendships are all about! Loving relationships are usually successful.

I would say that depends on if the bisexual can remain faithful to one person. Too many bisexuals seem to think that because they like both male and female that means they should have both. Fidelity is the key.

My girlfriend is a lesbian, I'm bisexual. We've only been dating for a few weeks, but things are going pretty smoothly so far.

Possibly but I think that most of us (lesbians) are leery of getting involved with someone who might run back to men. The bi partner can get STDs from the boyfriend.
The bi partner can always run back to men for the acceptance of the community.

As long as they are open and honest with each other, then they should be fine and even have a great time. Whether they date each other or not they must set rules, boundaries and goals so everyone is treated respectfully.
