im gonna be going to my moms soon and i have a Idaho permit and im going to washington not DC lol and i need to know if i can drive with my ID permit in WA

im 16 and i need to know i wanna show my mom i can drive and all lol but my dad here says i cant cause its an Idaho permit so ya'll sure i can ???

It's legal as long as an adult is with you.

Actually, no it does not work in every state. It depends on your state and there laws. but, as long as you have a driver with you that is 18 years of age or older and carries an drivers licenses in Idaho with you, you should be okay. You can look this up on the state web site.

It should be fine. If you're planning on being there for a long time or permanently, I'd get it transferred to a WA permit though, which shouldn't be too difficult.

i don't know about ya'lls laws but here in NC if you have a permit you can only drive in the state you got your pemit from.

hey im ur same age with a permit. it has to be in state, but do it and dont get pulled over
