It's very hard to get the "right person" to look at it.
First let several people who's judgement you really trust, read your script and see what they think of it.
If you can impress them, then you have a chance of impressing a studio exec.
Perserverence is the key, there is a lot of competition, so expect to be turned down a lot! If it's any good, sooner or later someone will want it.
Make sure to document when you wrote it, so they can't take your idea and say they wrote it.

Before you submit your script to an agent or producer, make sure you can get your work "copyrighted". The easiest way to do that is to submit your script to WGA (Writers Guild of America, the official union for Hollywood screenwriter) and for a fee, you can claim your work as your own for the next five year and nobody can copy your work. Go to www.wga.org for more information. As for submitting your work to an agent or producer, it's going to be hard to find an agent or producer who willing to look at a script. You can ask WGA to see if they have some program about this or not. Otherwise, good luck with your success and don't be discourage because Hollywood is always looking for the next big thing everyday.

i have scripts too. once we fell upon a wandering script manager. All you do is pick a movie industry like Columbia Pictures or Fox and mail it to them. But the only way you get credit is when most of you're script is used perfectly, it's a box-office hit, and you appear during the filming or auditioning.

Copywright it, if you don't have the money to do that, then get it on disk, or paper, enclose it into a manilla envelope, then take it to the post office, and mail it to yourself, certified, and signature required, and when you get it and sign for it, put it in a safety deposit box, never open it. The date will prove you wrote it first when you have to sew someone for stealing your idea, or script. Then you can send it to various litterature companies that can help you. I'm not sure how to do that part, or exactly who to contanct, but I think you could probably do a google search. Good luck. Ron Couch

1st, mail a copy to your self, but when you get it don't open it. It's proof that you have the Idea first. Then you shop around for people in that industry and shoot it to them, if it's good some one will bite. what's your script about anyway?
