I usually go answer Tech questions, but this was too much to resist :)

This to me, depends on the quality of the money, if I see a shiny penny, I would pick it up, though I wouldnt get close to it if it was covered with gum, mud, etc, all depends on condition.

As for anything larger than a penny, I honestly dont care about the condition unless it was really disgusting, cigarette ash, gum, poop, none of that stuff and i'll take it :)

For bills, my eye that looks for cleaniness goes blind and I dont care what condition it is in, its money! In fact, I once picked up a McDonalds coupon good for a Big Mac half off with purchase of a Big Mac. Since it says "No actual cash value", I guess I picked up things that are worthless as well :)

The smallest I would pick up would be a penny of course, only because if you save it after picking up all the pennys or whatever you find, you will have a lot more than you started with!

yeahh!

You should always pick up pennies. Throw them over your shoulder and make a wish. It's better odds than the lottery that you will get what you wished for

One penny. And say "Thank You for this sign of prosperity" and put it in my pocket.
