The best thing I ever did in life? Wow, that's a great question.I guess it was the few times that I managed to be in the right place at the right time when members of my family needed me most.Like showing up at 4am at the hospital when my aunt was awake and alone in icu after her ovarian cancer surgery.Then 2 months later at her grave I drove straight to her sisters bedside to see her just hours before she passed away that night around 4am.
As far as a best thing for myself, I was able to go on a sailboat off the coast of Miami Beach on someones private boat all night with a few friends.I was able to see the coastline all lit up like the postcards and lay on the deck starring up at the stars.It was an amazing experience.

The best thing that I ever did in my life was to have my 2 sons. One is now 26 and the other is 13. They are wonderful. They have enriched my life. They are great people, and I would not change a thing about either of them. They are my pride and joy.

Moving away to go to college. If I had stayed, I would have ended up married to my chauvinistic high school boyfriend (probably a miserable housewife with a crap load of children). Thank God for my mom tricking me into moving away. I was angry with her at the time, but I now know that it was the best thing for me.

I spent the summer working in Hong Kong feeding the poor and then came back to the states and worked with Cambodian refugees.

Knelt down in front of my couch and told God I didn't know how to pray but I wanted everything he had for me!
It's a long story but it has been an amazing ride since that night in 1976.
