No I think that would be the wrong conclusion.
Probably more people would click and comment on the "slap" question as it is out of the norm and people are, by nature, curious. Plus, a lot of people would take afront to being slapped and therefore this question would have a much more powerful impact than the rather mundane "kissing" question.
Therefore, i think you can conclude that it is not people's interest in violence that drew the greater response, rather people's curiosity

People love the dramatic... and sadly, kissing is no longer considered as romantic and sacred as it once was. A slap is a more uncommon and interesting occurance. When you see someone slap someone else, you are prone to ask, "What merited that?" whereas when it comes down to a kiss, there is no question.

People do respond more to negativity.
If someone hears something about themself both good and bad, they'll dwell on the bad.
Maybe it's because affection and kind words are not as emotionally intense as someone slapping you. Pain is something that most people feel real well.

people are made to react to negative, its just the way it is. Think about your life, you remember all the really nice things that people have done to you? yeah you might remember some, but think about all the negative things that have been done, its a lot easier to remember. Pain is a stonger emotion than love, why I dont know, but thats why i think people react more to violence than love!

Umm... maybe the kissing one is to personal. Besides, most people prefer violence to love, and whether they like love more, you are much more likely to act or notice something violent. Someone can say "I love you," but you wouldn't be able to hear it over the bombs and armageddon flame. Love is prefered, but does love get you anywhere in life?

I would slug 'em in the gut. I mean you know how people fight? Well I woud fight like that then I would slug 'em in the gut and slap 'em in the face. Or blast 'em one in the face I mean. Like when you see people fight. That's what I'd do.
