I was only in the 4th grade and I started my period in class. I had no idea what getting your period was, so when I saw the blood between my legs and on my desk seat...I thought I was dying! I went up and told my teacher I thought something was wrong with me and she took me into the office to call my mom. They waited til my mom got there to explain what happened.

I was 13 yrs old when I first got. It was during the night when I had cramps and I was thinking what did I have for dinner that messed up my tummy. Then I woke up and I saw that my pj's were soaked with blood. Gosh. I went to see mom coz I wanted to borrow some of her sanitary napkins and that's what happened.
