Where can I find completed designs for information systems ready for download?

I would like to implement a finished design. Does anyone know where I can download?

Please clarify your question. An information system could be a single computer, or a large network of computers, organized to perform certain operations. What is it that you wish to implement?

Modern processor chips contain many millions of transistors. It is not practical to implement them with individual components.

Discrete implementation of the circuitry found on a modern motherboard, for example, would be much more expensive than the cost of a commercially available motherboard.

It may be feasible to obtain designs for certain historic systems and implement them with more modern components, but performance will not compare with current technology and the costs may be prohibitive.
