especially if its my 13th? i remember theirs. so, wtf? y don't they remember, or even acknowledge, mine? now i'm stuck listening to avril lavigne and going on to the second stage, not crying, but wondering and being angry at the same time. I wrote this....
two people... two, only two of the 40 some people on my friends list remembered my birthday, and they aren't even my best friends, i know sad... right? well, maybe u people will remember next year... i mean only 1 year right? well, thnx to cory + ardath who were the only 2 who acknowledged my b-day, even if cory's comment is freaky, at least he remembered, thnx 2 all who participated, and 4 those who didn't.... figure it out! its not that hard to see a little icon saying "BIRTHDAY 6-25".

Well they may not be your real friends if they forget your birthday. Just wait and see how they act on their b-days. If they get mad b/c you don't acknowledge it the way that they want, you might want new friends. Be sure to let them know how you feel that they didn't acknowledge your B-Day.

You cant have 40 close friends just people you know and talk to, but unless you can say you would trust them with your secrets, your not close, and you have to see the wider picture have you memorised all 40 of their b-days? No, exactly.
Close people like you family and best friend(s) (ones you would tell secrets) are what you should care about.
I feel for you I’m glad I’m not 13 but welcome to the teenage years the next 6-7 years will make or break you, full of horrible pain and unbelievable fun, good luck and happy birthday!

Your birthday is what YOU make of it. You just can't expect people to remember it if you don't remind them. While it may be the most important thing happening in your life, it doesn't rank nearly as high on everyone else's list. And you sure don't get to cry about it when you had all the opportunity in the world to make the most of it. Next year throw yourself a party and invite everyone a few weeks in advance.

My advice is to forget it. HOWEVER....when their birthdays come around...conveniently forget them. If they say something, just tell them you're giving them twice as much as they gave you last year. To those who did acknowledge your birthday, give them a big hug and tell them how much you appreciate even a nod your way and how your 'best' friends just ignored you. Pretty soon, the "best friends' will hear about it start groveling about "belated birthday"......forget it...you have one shot that's it. You don't accept belated birthdays. Maybe next year they will get it right. Get some new friends while you're at it.

Will you feel the same way when you turn 50 or 30. Don't waste your life hold grudges because you have expectations that other did not fulfill. Please don't say anything to your friends just be nice and remember their bday.
