I am looking for a inexpensive trim motor for my 1983 Bayliner Capri.
I also need an alternator for the same.

Not sure, BUT, if it bad try to fix it first!!!!! IF, you mess up not cost anything, you were going to buy another anyway.
First; the Alternator, may be best to replace with a rebuilt from a parts store. It a Car Engine. What Kind? Ford/Chevy? That your Alternator. Auto Parts Store not Boat Dealer.
NOW! That trim motor. Take it apart and clean it up! I use Emory cloth and take a drill with the Armature in the drill and use a towel to protect your drill put it in a vise so you not hold it. Start and Lock your trigger so it run. Take the Emory Cloth around the Brass/Copper holding in two hands and work it up/down then spray clean with electrical cleaner. Clean the Magnets. Check the Brushes! IF they bad you need to find more. Motor Repair Shop not the Dealer!!!!! To get the brushes on the armature use some very thin wire to hold back in Springs and place on and then remove the wires, should run, usually these motors just water/moisture corroded and nothing need replaced, just cleaned. Hope you can figure out what I saying. OR take BOTH to a Motor/Alternator/Starter repair shop they fix cheaper than a boat dealer or Auto parts store Rebuilds.
