1. Why would you vote that way?

The Republicans in this country are way too extreme (part-time Christians, homophobic, xenophobic, war-loving, and way too out of touch with what people need).
The Democrats are too spineless and without character.
It is too hard to say. Unless one of the other parties comes up with a honest, problem-solving, hard-working (not vacationing whenever something goes wrong like our current knucklehead), financially responsible, down-to-earth candidate who looks toward the future (focuses on global warming, our ties with other nations, fixing the Social Security issues, eliminating our debt to other countries, and including funding to health causes), then I won't be voting (I have voted in every election since I was 18 and am so disgusted with the choices).

Why should I have to choose between those two outdated parties? Fortunately, there are other alternatives: Greens, Libertarians, etc. But I would sooner write in Mickey Mouse than cast a vote for either a Democrat or a Republican.

Republican mainly, Democrats have proved to be anti military.
They like to spend my money & so do I. I am looking for a more family friendly party. I have one local Democrat that I would vote for - he is honest & moderate but then I would have to go Republican. No other Democrat running that I would vote for.

Democrat because they are for the people more than self. Republicans are stripping the American people of their hard earn wages. Republicans have been and will always be for the top 2% of the wealthy, they don't care for the poor folks that have to have two to five jobs to just make ends meet.

I would vote for the best person for the job but these days it would probably be a democrat.

I am a moderate znd I would vote Republican. The mantra of the Democrats is hate Bush. They have no plan - they have no solutions as to what we should do to make things better. They have no sound action plan so all they do is whine and complain.

More than likely democrat. Our country is being run down by many of the republicans.

I would vote democrat anyday. I generally prefer the democrats' platforms to the republicans'.

I want my country to survive the next few decades, I would probably vote Democrat.
