hey u only feel that way because everyone else in your class just wana do the "cool" thing and follow society's way for teenagers to behave. you continue being your own true self and forget those losers and just stay focused on your education and your future, dont let those fools get you down. i know its gona be hard to ignore the feeling, but you have try, thats just life, but you have to keep being true to yourself.

I feel the same way sometimes. In high school I talked to people here and there, and no one had a problem with me and I guess i didnt have a problem with them either, but I realize now that I kept every one at an arms distance, and never really got to close to any one besides a good friend of mine. I thought all the girls were really catty and shallow, but I wish now that I would have got to know more of my class mates. Im now in college and Ive met alot more people. I know this may sound shallow, but smile. Smile at people, or just smile when your walking around school. It makes you more approchable and easy going. Really it makes all the difference. Just try it one day smile at every one, but not just a fake smile, think of something that makes you happy and smile. Look for the difference. It worked for me.

I'm different too, most people don't know how to take me. There are those of us that make our own way, stand out from others. Not part of the herd as I always termed it. I never even dressed as others I just bought what looked good on me. That doen't mean your alienated your just being unique in a seafull of fish.

It's normal for teenagers to feel alienated, everyone seems to go through the phase (or at least all of my friends and I). I know the feeling though, some people just don't seem to "get it"....The only one I think really "gets it" or understands me is my girlfriend...It's normal though....I go to a small school where most people like rap and country music, I listen to metal, alternatifve and rock music...No one seems to understand me, and I don't understand them.

Thank goodness you're eccentric and different! You're original and not just another sheep following the others. Be yourself! There are too many others out there who become one of the pack in order to "fit in." We need more non-conformists.

I had feel the same when i was studying.
Actually no one isolated and make u feel like alien. It is due to your character....U must be friendly enough...
Must dare to talk....must dare to approach the other students. If u think your appearance and personality gives you problems than try to change it.Its not too much hard to change personality rather than characters.
Hopefully u will feel more betta...
good luck..
Take care...

PS: do not go to consult a doctor because it will only make you more worst than before.U must take effort not by anyone else...And also...your main purpose now...Is to study well..OK

Are you eccentric because you are 'trying' to be different to attract attention? Or are you expressing who you really are inside?

If you are secure with who you are, then what others think about should'nt matter.

Maybe they feel the same way? Maybe they are the alienated ones because they aren't like you...
