My brother keeps asking me to learn computer skills by having me read computer books with him. He basically wants me to get a computer-related job but it's not what I'd want to be my profession...
He sees me as a lazy guy who doesn't wanna do any work to make a living so he thinks that by getting me interested in a job he feels to be 'easy and high-paying' will make my problems go away.
I'm already well aware of the fact that you have to work to make income but I don't believe that working in something you have no interest in is a good idea, but every time I try to tell him that, he gets pissed off calling me a 'lazy fat fu(k who doesn't wanna work' and continues to think I just expect everything in life to come easy..
What's the best way for me to get my point across to him?
(BTW, I already have a job [I'm a superintendant's assistant], though my brother doesn't see it as a 'career-worthy' job...)

Stick up for yourself, show your brother your not going to tolerate a contridiction of YOUR LIFE! Its your life not his, tell him to worry less about your life and more about his. Explain to him that you would never be able to work at a job you do not like. He should not be calling you lazy period. You have a job and live a life. Show him you mean it. If he gets mad, try to calm him without backing down from your side of the story. Also, whats your brother's job, hmm?

Show to your brother that u are worth than what he ever thought. Go for the internet business which require less of your time and the one that will not make you feel headache with web designing or which require IT knowledge. Second, choose the internet based company which offer you the opportunity and at the same time giving you the convenience to start the business where all the things are automated. Third, choose the business which does not require big money to start it. Think again, when you are earning money from the internet, you have the chance to get rid from an income tax.

You don't loose anything instead gain everything even to support your present job if you learn computer skill. It pleases your brother also. Who knows you may get interested latter and gets a whole new career opportunity altogether.

Just learn computer skills, but not feel pressured into doing it as a possible job, just do it as it gives you POWER :-)
And don't learn it by reading books but by fishing the info out of google. Do it in your own time.
Basically tell him "I am doing it" that'll shut him up.
