The King invites you to shoot one of the thieves, he doesn't say kill one of them. So you shoot one of the thieves in the leg or the foot such that he will not die, then you beckon the King to honor his word, and the remaining 9 will be freed. What happens to the one you shot is up to the King, and that will be on his conscious, not yours. You did what he asked you to do by shooting him.

a million) Why might or not this is ethically incorrect for the healthcare expert to furnish the baby a deadly injection? OR Why might or not this is ethically permissible? it would be ETHICALLY incorrect as against the cannons of expert duty. that's not the wellbeing care provider's call, this is the mummy and father determination. 2) might or not this is ethically proper to withhold existence-retaining therapy to quicken dying in spite of if that's agreed upon that the concern will ultimately kill her? for occasion, to not place her on a ventilator if she might desire to now not breathe on her very own? Why or why not? Agreed upon by ability of whom? back, decrease than the cannons of expert duty, as quickly as the toddler is born and absent convey consent to withhold therapy from the mummy and father or the courtroom, the wellbeing care provider is LEGALLY obligated to handle.

The king says they will be shot but not that they will die. I would take the opportunity to interpret his words literally and I would shoot one but the shot would not be fatal. But, I would hope I would never be in a situation like that.

Why would the king think you would care to save the lives of any of them? You don't know them or what they did wrong. Maybe they are Saddams henchmen....I think it would be a very inappropriate way for a king to greet a guest....

Killing is not considered murder if it is sanctioned by the state. If 10 ar already condemned, you are saving nine by carrying out the deed. I think it is your obligation to do what you can within the parametres given, and not abstain merely to satisfy your own protest.

I would take the responsibility of shooting one. It may be the hardest thing I will have to do, but better for one to die then all 10.

I don't shoot anything I don't eat. So, since it's his country and laws and I don't eat humans I would let him carry out his form of justice.

i would state to the king that if it is the law that they be executed for their crimes then i would feel unworthy to circumvent it.instead i would offer to shoot them all 10 to save them the cost and trouble and to show my thanks for being allowed to visit a country where justice is served and where criminals, not victims, pay for their crimes.
