I honestly hope England wins the World Cup. After playing soccer for 14 years and playing for a coach who played in England they are the best team available. I know there are other teams that are more favored than England but I believe they are superior in all aspects. They have everything that you need to be a great team. Teamwork, pride, desire, long ball and short ball, speed, control and the most important they feel they have to win. A long shot but they are my favored team to win

Only if all other opponent's go nuts like Portugal did today. Will they win - I don't think so. CAN they win ?
They're probably the worst TEAM at the moment (notice that I don't mean the group of worst players, but they suck as a team). SHould they somehow melt together, anything is possible. They might be able to beat Portugal (sans 3/4), perhaps in penalty kicks. After that.... I still think that the winner of the Argentina-Germany game will take it all. Argentina is IMO the team with the most talent, Germany has the best TEAM.....

Not this World Cup.
They could only manage a set play bender to survive against the third best team in South America - in a game played in Europe !!!

Unfortunatley I don't think they will win. But i'd love to see an England vs Germany final. I'd be happy with either in that outcome ; )

no way england will have to face teams like argentina germany just to make it to the world cup. they will not go any where playing how they are playing they are barley advancing they get luckey with bekam getting a free kick like when they played paraguay. if they are going to go far somebody else needs to step up rooney, lampard, gerrard

I hope they lose every match that they are to play again because they are spoiled sports. Heaven forbid that they win. They'd destroy Germany.
