I had crabs once...LOL...I went to the pharmacy to get some RID, and started laughing uncontrollably every time I tried to find the words to explain what I needed. I had to walk away from the register about 3 times before I (just barley) held my composure enough to ask where the medicine was located. The guy thought I was nuts!
Anyway, the shampoo you get at the drug store doesn't kill the eggs, and the comb they give you to get the eggs from off your pubes is extrememly painful and VERY time comsuming.
So here's the lo down: use the shampoo - then immediately shave your balls (and the crack of you *** too). Then use the shampoo again to be sure. Do all of this in the shower so that they all go down the drain. This is the quickest way to rid youself of pubic lice (about 1 hour).
By the way, it takes 2 weeks for the eggs to hatch, so it's very doubtful you got them the night before...and as far as what to say to you girlfriend...I dunno, that deserves another post.

Really, crabs is not sexually transmitted. It's like getting lice- you can get it anywhere. Have you talked to your gf about this? Maybe you got it elsewhere. Either way, you need to shave everything off your crotch area for one. And two, you'll probably need to get some kind of ointment or cream from your doctor. Don't overlook this- go see your doctor.

Pubic lice are easily killed with a 1% permethrin or pyrethrin lice shampoo, but the pubic hair must be shaved or combed with a fine-toothed comb to remove the nits. Lice can survive in bedding and clothing, so these items must be treated, sterilized, or contact with them must be avoided for two weeks, after which time any lice will have died.

Get the lice shampoo and spray and use them - don't have sex with anyone until you do. If you plan on being with your girl again, make sure she also uses the shampoo and spray.

go to the nearest drug store and ask at the counter at the pharmacy for kwallada or nix......ask for explicit instructions...you need to immediately toss all your bed sheets and towel or what ever clothing you are wearing since to laundry them......for best results shave you pubic region.....do the same with your gf.....

perhaps see the doctor to get some medicine cream or lotion will be a good way. so see the doctor for the best advise.
