Neutragena is the best kind I've found. But here's a tip... take a shower before bed and exfoliate with a loofah, then pre-moisturize drier areas like elbows, knees, and ankles before applying, that way those areas don't absorb more tanning lotion and turn darker. Apply evenly washing your hands very throughly, then go to bed and when you wake up you'll notice the difference.

I've never used self tanning lotion, but I've heard that the sprays are the best. I would have to say the natural way is best tho, just make sure that you wear enough sunblock to not get burned, and the right factor for your skin tone so that you still get some color.

I have never had a sunless tanning lotion I didn't have a problem with. One made me itch, so I wound up streaky. Plus, it's hard to get an even coat. Definitely, do not use spray tanners. They are even harder to get even coats with. I've never had any turn me orange. My best advice is go outside. Not only is it free, but it also lasts longer, and you get the most even coat. Just don't stay out there too long.

I started using this Vaseling Intensive Moisture stuff about 2 weeks ago, and i have a really natural tan going. It's a lotion, so you're also getting really soft smooth skin. Plus it's only about 4 dollars a bottle.

Neutragena sells a self tanner called, "build a tan" I've used it and its excellent, you can choose how deep your tan will be, its water resistent when completely dried (although scrubbing and soap can remove it) and it has a pleasant scent.

Also Jergens has a self tanning product and there's one for body and face, this is also a moisturiser, I recommend this one too

I just tried the banana boat spray stuff. It worked okay. I didn't turn orange, but after using it every day for three days, my legs are only slightly brownish and I'm all out of self tanner.
