i always wanted to know if there was a way to stop growing ppl said coffee makes you that way is it true or just a myth

Coffee does stunt your growth. My 6th grade teacher started drinking coffee allll the time in 8th grade/9th grade, and ever since then she's been the same hieght. I think its true, but others may think its a myth.

The coffee doesnt make you shorter but too much caffeen will. I know it sucks. Usually the difference is like a fraction of an inch though so it doesnt really matter. But if your going for that extra inch, i wouldnt suggest 5 red bulls a day...

not sure about the coffee thing but just as the Chinese are known for the binding of feet on females there is a way to stop certain things from growing! its very pain-full i think you should look that up and see for yourself! there was a girls on Ripley's believe it or not that bound her waistline to be the size that a Barby would be and it worked but it is a long and pain-full proses

There are actually over 400 chemical substances in coffee, many of which have unknown effects on people. So while it is probably an old wives tale, many times there is a bit of truth to them.

coffee just stunts certain aspects of your growth. at this point there is no known way of stopping growing.
and the only things that effect your growth are bad for you in many ways, and therefore not recommended

That's a myth..parents told us it would stunt our growth so we wouldn't drink it.

should have told your mother to smoke when she was preggers with you mine did and i am 4ft 11" or 147cm and shrinking at 32 years of age. seriously sorry dont know anything though we always hate what we got dont we

i don't think it's true. my dad is 6'5, and he's drank coffee since he was like 12. and then he was like 5'6, so no, i really don't think it does. actually, all the ppl i no who drink coffee are quite tall...............
