It's not important. No matter what the captured documents said, liberals whould just claim President Bush forged the documents, and planted them for "discovery".

A good conspiracy creator would say that the Bush admistration created false captured Iraqi and Taliban documents because the republicans want to win the next election and convince the American people that we are winning the war on terrorism, which we are really loosing.

They are too busy trying to find more abuse cases to push on our gi's. Recent division between the factions in congress has the liberals spinning their wheels. It's so bad Kerry does not know what position to take and Hillary is caught between the far left and the moderates. Naturally old Dean is just blowing smoke up their butts and trying to find a rallying point for the gang.

Hey, political opinion has nothing to do with facts. most people like the press to pander to their prejudices. this goes for the left and right wingers.

Have you noticed how the Authoritarians keep telling the Liberals to shut up? (that IS the opposite of liberal BTW) mostly everyone ignores some of the facts to boost thier own agenda.

If you've got a website that has them, point me to it. I'd be fascinated.

And as for the whole fact/emotion thing, we're not the ones who fearmonger our way to winning elections. Quite the opposite. Our last two presidential candidates were living fountains of facts that ultimately bored the public compared to Bush's overly simple and sappy platitudes. Clearly we need to start dealing more with emotions so we can start winning elections again.

Hopefully we haven't forgotten who was governor of texas during that time...

(For those that don't bother to check links and read the stories, they basically say that the Taliban met with Bush in 1997 and with Saddam in 1999)

Have you noticed that people who make categorical statements never find them to be false?

Come on... before making statements about an entire class of people at least try to find out why ten of them think as they do. Otherwise you are deluding yourself into thinking you are right about everything.

There are a lot of right AND wrong people on both sides of the fence.
