Eat small meals every 3 hours to keep your metabolism going and work out or walk with a friend 4-5 times a week so exercise time goes by more quickly.

I was a fat teenager and when I was ready to lose weight, I joined a slimming club to help myself (specifically Weight Watchers, but all the slimming clubs are all good--really). the point is to follow the plan EXACTLY and you don't have to join a gym --just go for a walk for an hour a day. No one will know you are exercising if you don't want them to know. Walk every where you can, then incorporate a little jog into it (that will take a few weeks, don't push it). Walking is the best and healthy exercise. If you don't want anyone to know you are dieting, there are internet diet clubs (even Weight Watchers has one one line). Most importantly, be honest with yourself--if you are on a diet and not losing weight, you probably aren't following the program exactly. You will lose an average of 2 pounds a week--doesn't sound like much but it adds up and you can lose about 50 pounds in six months--so you could be the weight you want to be by Christmas or before! Stick with it and good luck! It WILL work if you work at it.

Well, you made the first step, by realizing the fact that you need to loose weight. If I were you I would start out by walking 3 miles a day. 1 1/2 miles one way and 1 1/2 miles back. Do this every morning and every night after dinner if possible. just a steady walk. Not a run or a jog. also if you have two 5 pound weights and carry one in each hand, no swaying just having them hang down by your side. if you do this for 2 weeks and eat a health diet you can loose up to 10# and you will feel great. Walking is a great way to clear your head and enjoy the outdoors. Get your parents or maybe some friends to go. let me know how you are doing, Okay. Janie S But remember muscle weighs more than fat.so if you are toning up you body you may put weight on at first don't get discouraged.

A couple of kind of weird ideas ... maybe you could lose weight and earn a little bit of extra $$ by dog walking. Does anyone in your neighborhood have little ones? Maybe you could "borrow" the little ones and take them for a walk and their mommy's could get a little break.

What are your interests? Do you like any sports? Even 1/2 hour of walking everyday will help shed a few pounds. Swimming, rollerblading, bicycling.

I totally understand though. I have always been a little overweight. I'm now 30 and still dealing with it. It's tough and especially in school. Kids are very, very cruel about it.

I've lost 30 pounds recently by watching portion sizes, actually thinking about what I eat before I eat it, staying away from fast food and exercising at least a little bit everyday. If I just totally can't stand the thought of walking I say to myself that I will at least walk for 20 minutes. By the time the 20 minutes has come I don't mind going an extra 10 or 20 minutes because i feel better.

Wish I could be more help. It's going to be tough but you can do it!

I guaranatee you if you do what I say you'll lose weight as long as your doctor says its ok....

1) cut calories, you have to exercise an awful lot just to work off a single chocolate bar, its better to watch what you eat than to jog more for losing weight. Diet is the prime determinant of fat loss unless you some athelete that works out tons.
Make sure you have protein and "good" carbs in your diet. Complex carbs, not sugary stuff. Search the net and you'll can see what I mean. Stuff like green apples and 7 grain bread.

2) find a target weight you wanna be at in 3 months. Don't lose more than 2lbs a week. After the 3 months, keep doing the program if you still wanna lose weight, go for another 3 months. For most women it's 1300 calories a day you'll need, at least, to lose that amount and still stay healthy. Don't starve yourself or your metabolism will shut down.

3) strength train or you'll lose muscle when you lose weight. The scale might be pleasant to look at but if you losing muscle, of course your not losing as much fat. In fact more muscle helps you burn more calories. No more than 1.5 hours a week on that.

4)have a balanced cardio program. High intensity is better for a shorter period of time because your bodie's metabolism is reved so high doing that kind of cardio that you continue to burn calories even after you stop the exercising. 20 min 3X a week is plenty.

best of luck to you. Remember to check with a doctor first. I guarantee you'll look much better. In fact in 6 months you won't recognize yourself. I know this works a girl and I did the program and the results were fantasic. Check out the Body For Life website too.

Okay I used to weigh 180 pounds and now I'm at 157 so I know how you feel trust me. What you need to do is cut back on junk food and alter some of the things you eat. For example if you give up soda thats 5 pounds right there. Try changing from normal bread to wheat or whole grain bread. Drink water and do not eat anything after 6:30. Drinking green tea also helps. Remember to always get at least half an hour of exercise in. It sounds hard but after a while you'll get used to it and Hey! its worth it.

i lost weight by drinking a lot of water and cutting out all those bad carbs. no more potatoes, noodles or rice. no cookies cakes or candies. Sara lee makes a bread called Delightfull multi-grain that is only 45 calories and 9 carbs. And it tastes great. So turkey sandwiches, toast and grilled ham and cheese are some of my favorites with it. Cucumbers, green pepers and sugar free jello are good snacks. Salads with lots of goodies like cheese, green peppers, onions ,baccon bits, turkey, boiled egg and ranch dresing(because its a naturally low carb dressing.) And if you do have to have something sweet to snack on, the sugar free Russell stover chocolates taste as good as regular chocolates, but don;t eat too many (they cause gas and could have a laxitive effect. Walking has been my best exercise. Start out for a 15 minute walk then you'll be up to an hour in noe time. Find a friend to join you. Good luck and don't give up . God Bless You

Ok, wanting to lose the weight is the first step! It's really not that hard, you might need some help from your mom or dad here. Drink lots of water, workout for 1 hour 5 days a week (its actually fun!), get active everytime you can, if you want to eat a snack, head for a zero or low calorie treat (carrots, celery, jicama).
You'll begin seeing results in no time. You'll feel awesome, your skin will look beautiful, you will look Great!!

Try to figure out why you're overweight. If you overeat frequently and don't exercise, then start! Try figure out what triggers your overeating, like loneliness. You also might want to see your doctor about about other causes...like hormonal issues.

Losing weight takes a lot of hardwork and dedication, but you can do it. Start working out slowly at first, with something like walking then increase the amount that you do. Having a workout buddy can also be helpful.

You don't have to drastically change your diet... just limit things like soft drinks that contain empty calories.

Keep a food and workout journal so you know exactly what you're doing and can document your success.

Good luck!

Exercise. Eat right. Eat only at the correct times of day and no other time. Exercise is difficult but I can help you put it into perspective. There are 24 hours in one day. You can either keep on doing what you have been doing and feel bad 24 hours a day or you can do what I said and have some discipline and only feel bad for about an hour each day. It's not a difficult choice.
