Wrestling seems to go in cycles of about 10yr intervals. Ok look like this the early 50's was the dawn of wrestling you had Gorgeous George,Lou Thesz and others. In the 60's you had not so much going on till the late 60's. Then in the mid to late 70's was the dawn of the terrirtoral system memphis, charlotte, georgia ect.. Mid 80's was mainstream the Crocketts going national Vince going national making it a 2 man show. Then in the mid 90's you had the monday night wars. So what im wondering what is your take on the cycle do you think we are due for another good period.

I don't necessarily want to believe in a cycle, because it tends to be an excuse for sloppy writing and booking. However, one can't ignore history and say it doesn't exist.

Wrestling is becoming more interesting lately. If WWE can cut the strings and let ECW thrive on it's own, I think that could be start of the resurgance. TNA is growing in popularity, so that could give WWE competition. What the WWE needs is someone biting at their heels like WCW was doing. And with the rebirth of ECW and DX, I think they can bring in more casual viewers and give the industy the boom that they're about do for.

Yes it does go in cycles but I think it has hit its heyday and will start the decline in the next 2-3 years
