My Firefox browser works yet my ie does not, it says ie is not connected to the internet?

how do i connect ie

Does the title bar say (working offline) ?
If so, click on file, then on Work Offline ... and it will come back online.

(You click on work offline to disconnect, and again to connect)

what type of connection you are using, check connection setting for server IP address.

is it a client pc if yes check proxy settings

or reinstall the browser
