Ummmm.......No.......If she remains depressed for more than a few days it's a sign that she is clinically depressed and they make meds for that.......

Do you have children? All women go through wondering if they can handle the pressure of family, work, life, etc. She very well may be depressed, but you can help with whatever it is. I have told my husband before that I sometimes feel like I cannot handle life. It's usually when the kids (2 boys 2 yrs. 4 yrs.) have given me a hard time or I've just had a hectic day. He really steps up when he notices this and either takes the kids off by himself, cleans the kitchen, vaccuums, etc. Women put a lot of pressure on themselves to "be the best". Best mom, best wife and so on. Good luck.

Would yopu want someone to say that to you?
If she is depressed there is a reason why she is....it may be because she is stuck in the same day to day routine and feels she is being neglected. If she does not work and takes care of the house and kids that could be a very good reason she is depressed....take her out, give her some flowers and ask her if you can do anything to help her

I suffer from depression and that's the last thing you need to be saying!! The first thing you need to do is take her to a Dr. so he can evaluate her depression and possibly perscribe something that will help her. The second thing you need to do is dig deep down and try to support her emotionally through all of this. You married her for BETTER OR FOR WORSE....well...this is the "worse" part. Don't blow off her emotions. Get her the help she needs.

Most women need the husband to guide her, give moral support and heplful. Coz' at this extent, she feels that many things just screwed up and she cant do it alone. so, give her support and dont make her more depressed. Good luck.

No, I think that would tell her that you have no confidence in her ability to cope which will only make her feel more alone and depressed. I think you should help build her up, not tear her down.
